Barbara Cortez-Greig

Barbara Cortez-Greig, MA, MSW, is a creative arts therapist, dance/movement and non-verbal communication specialist, performer, teacher and mother of two grown children. For over 25 years, she has been dedicated to using the arts to promote self-expression and the quality of relationships. She was a member of the Marin Children’s Theater and created the Small Steps Program in Santa Monica California.

Barbara joined ECT in the Fall of 1999 as an artist/educator and performer in BETWEEN THE CANALS: The Evolution of a Mill Town, THE SKINNER SERVANT’S TOUR: A Living History of Wistariahurst, Folktales From Japan and AFRICAN GRIOT: Keeper of the Oral Tradition. Ms. Cortez-Greig is fluent in French, knows some Spanish and speaks Turkish.
