"You are proof of how exciting education can be."
~5th grade teacher, Providence, RI
ENCHANTED CIRCLE THEATER's touring performances provide an integrated arts-in-education experience for schools. The productions for grades K-6 focus on the peoples of the earth. These colorful adaptations spark children's interest in other cultures of the world and enrich the standard social studies curriculum.
Our middle school production of DANCE OF THE EARTH explores earth science, while A BULLET CAN'T KILL A DREAM takes on social justice and activism. Our high-school literature-basd production of FROM PAGE TO STAGE - A Reader's Theater brings literature to life as it explores the theme of the "outsider".
Two site-based historical productions focus on life in turn of the century Holyoke - BETWEEN THE CANALS: The Evolution of Mill Town and THE SKINNER SERVANTS' TOUR: A Living History of Wistariahurst.
Our newest production, LEAH ENTERS LATE, performed on-site at the National Yiddish Book Center, is a modern tale of growing up, letting go and assimilating.
“Take your child to see them. If you don’t have a child – borrow one. If you can’t find a child – go alone. This is not to be missed!”
~Leslie Lyles, News reporter, Charleston, SC
“The art of masterful storytelling is alive and well in the hands of Enchanted Circle Theater, with its combination of impeccable artistry, delightful good humor and incredibly imaginative costumes.”
~Librarian, Springfield, MA
